model 2 : right Side view

A : Collar Strap buckle

4 : Collar Strap size adjustment triglide

B/3 :  Chest Strap adjustable buckle

3a :  Chest Strap triglide for extra webbing

C : Main leash snap for the collar d-ring

C1 : Main Leash d-ring and second snap

D :  Buckle for the second part of the communication leash

The Communication leash starts at the chest strap and passes through the main leash just after the D-ring and releases the first Communication leash Handle. The first handle can be left on your 24/7 and does not have to have held like a regular leash.  It is great for indoor training and service dogs.  On the back on the handle there is a buckle to reattach the Communication Leash which runs next too and inside the main leash again. It exits the main leash at the second communication Leash Handle. This handle is set so that your dog is much closer to you when you are using it than the main leash.

Model 2 : Open Package & Setup

1. Separate the main leash and back of the communication leash at C 1 and D

2. Release the  chest strap and collar strap buckles. A  and B

3. Pull the chest strap so the handle releases and all the cord is visible.

Connect/Adjust Chest Strap

1. Wrap the chest strap around the ribs with the cord  visible on the left side

2. Connect and adjust the collar strap using the buckle and triglide/s.  Gently pull the Chest Strap  so it is not overly  tight around the ribs. B and 3

3 Extra elastic or webbing should be threaded through  triglides on the chest strap. The small and medium sizes have less elastic and sizing is done by threading webbing through only one triglide. 3a. For the XS version there is a second triglide on the other side of the collar strap that should be pushed as far away as possible and back threaded.

4.   Any extra elastic  or webbing can be removed after your fitting has been tested and the triglides are back threaded.

Connect/Adjust Collar Strap

Chest strap need to be adjusted and setup before adjusting the collar strap.

1. Thread the collar strap under the collar and reconnect to the buckle.   A

2. Adjust the collar strap length using the triglide on the collar strap, so that the chest strap is behind the legs and remains on the ribs.  4

3. Any extra  webbing can be removed after your fitting has been tested and the triglide is back threaded.

Fitting Test

Before connecting the main leash and the back of the communication leash,  test your fitting by pulling and releasing the handle and watching and feeling the pull and release around the ribs. We recommend using the back part of the leash as well before finalizing your fitting and fully trimming the excess webbing and elastic.

For small and medium size dogs they can use either MODEL 1 or MODEL 2.  MODEL 2 is recommended for very young puppies, lighter weight dogs and small Service Dogs. The XS size can be either MODEL 2 or MODEL 2 + COLLAR.
